Sun Peaks has been awarded the SafeTravels Stamp by the World Travel & Tourism Council, applauding thier operational safety and hygiene practices.

Work began in March 2020, between Sun Peaks Resort LLP, Tourism Sun Peaks and Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality to ensure local businesses had the tools and resources required to safely re-open. These protocols remain in place and continue to evolve in accordance to the provincial health office.

As domestic and international travel resumes, the SafeTravels Stamp will help travelers easily recognize Sun Peaks as a safe destination to visit.

The resort community located just 45 minutes from Kamloops, it is the second largest ski area in Canada and a year-round mountain destination for guests.
