Discover local flavours and festivities in Summerland
Spring is in the air, and there’s no better time than during National Tourism Week to invite people to explore Summerland later this month.
From April 18 to 21, Bottleneck Drive Association of wineries invites locals and visitors to mark the occasion by celebrating the opening of the season with a visit to its Spring Preview Weekend. Visitors will have a chance to explore local flavours, enjoy family-friendly fun and share the joy of discovering one of BC’s most charming destinations.
“Spring Preview Weekend is a celebration of what makes Summerland so special,” says association chair Jordan Kubek. “As we recognize National Tourism Week to help us kick off the season, we invite everyone to experience our community on Easter weekend, to meet the makers, and share the story of Summerland with others.”

Bottleneck Drive is Summerland’s signature craft beverage trail, home to 17 members that are wineries, cideries, a brewery and a distillery, all offering unique and handcrafted products. As you travel through vineyard-lined roads and lakeside landscapes, each stop brings something new—from crisp ciders and bold reds to refreshing cocktails and small-batch spirits.
During Spring Preview Weekend, visitors can enjoy Easter egg hunts, exclusive tastings, behind-the-scenes tours and more. With three distinct touring routes to follow, it’s easy to discover new favourites or revisit familiar ones.
