Following the Provincial Health Office’s (PHO) announcement, the Penticton Vees Hockey Club is pleased to announce the team will host 50 per cent of the capacity of the South Okanagan Events Centre, beginning with the first exhibition game on Friday, September 24.
With the introduction of the BC Vaccine Card, Interior Health region-specific restrictions have been lifted to allow fifty percent of capacity for indoor gathered events. The Vees open the exhibition season against the Vernon Vipers on Friday, September 24, at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC).
“We are fortunate to be based out of a facility like the SOEC, where we’ll be able to welcome so many of our fans back to the arena,” commented Vees President, General Manager and Head Coach Fred Harbinson, “We can’t wait to see our fans in person cheering on our team once again this season.”
Single game tickets can be purchased at the SOEC Box Office, as well as online at valleyfirsttix.com.
The Vees will begin their 2021/22 season at home on Friday, October 8 in renewing a historic rivalry against the Vernon Vipers.
Season tickets for the upcoming campaign are now available to purchase with ticket packages available for as low as $9 per game.
